Mission Possible: Razgrad, Bulgaria

My recent trip to Bulgaria was a blessing beyond anything I had imagined. I went there to make a difference in someone else's life. I never dreamed that it would be my life that was changed forever.
The people we met in Bulgaria are very special. No matter what their worldview, their faith is precious to them. During the trip we encountered atheists, Muslims and many following the legalistic traditions of orthodoxy. Being a former communist country, many of the people there don't know what real freedom is. One thing I quickly noticed was how few people in Bulgaria knew the freedom and joy available to them through Christ.
The purpose of this mission trip was to preach the gospel to as many people as we could while we were there. So the journey began!
First I have to say that the only reason I even decided to go to Bulgaria was because God drew me there. My son had been talking to me about this trip for months. He was planning to go and I was simply going to donate money to help defray the cost of his trip. After several weeks of the Lord pulling on my heart I realized that He wanted me to go as well.
There are so many stories to be told. One family we met had three different worldviews under one roof, and they all made a decision for Christ! What an awesome honor it was to be used by God as a vessel to reach these precious lives.
I give God ALL the glory! Every single person we shared the gospel of Jesus Christ with during our visit made a profession of faith. Not one person could turn down the free gift of eternal life through Christ!! God broke the hearts of many and called them into His arms. I simply cannot explain in words the amazing things God did on this trip. I am just overwhelmed with joy and honored that God would use me.
The smiling faces in these pictures are officially God's chosen ones. Only God knows the hearts of those who claimed to make decisions for Christ during this trip, but I believe they were all genuine!
